An evening with local Singers Dean Oliver and Dave Brooks. Taking you through the years with hits from 50’s right the way through to present day.
Dean Oliver
Dean spent numerous years singing in bands and performing all over the UK, having had the honour of supporting bands such as Space and The Specials. Dean also worked as a session vocalists in studios during this time, where he worked with Hawkwind and UFO. In 2024 he decided to become a soloist, singing all the songs he loves from the 50s to the present. Covering many different genres which include Rock n Roll, Rock and Pop. Artists you will hear me cover are the likes of Queen, Elvis, The Temptations, Bob Marley, UB40, Oasis, Chuck Berry, Solomon Burke, Del Shannon, Stevie Wonder, Stereophonics and many, many more. My aim is to cater for varied musical tastes, with songs everyone can enjoy!
Dave Brooks
Dave is a local lad born in Warmley and has lived in the area for 50years now he started singing at the age of 16 on karaoke’s and at other artist events. So then decided at the age of 29 to go at it alone and see what happens. So here at the age of 50 still singing Elvis – Garth brooks – all types of middle of road songs to foot tappers and hits that you can have a good old jive too.
